Click here to visit the Center for Law and Public Policy. Center for Law and Public Policy The Center for Law and Public Policy, a non-governmental organization, was established with a vision to:
- Mentor young Seventh-day Adventists interested in pursuing careers in law and government
- Nurture community among Adventist attorneys and public policy makers
- Advocate public policy from an Adventist perspective
Guided by this vision, the Center: trains aspiring lawyers and policy-makers in the theory and methods of public policy and advocacy; organizes conferences and seminars to provide opportunities for fellowship and to inform Adventist attorneys and public policy-makers on current issues, particularly as they relate to human rights and bear on the highly vulnerable; and advocates on Capitol Hill for issues of health and human rights while educating the wider Adventist community regarding these activities.
