Office of the Chaplain

How do you express your faith––particularly in today’s fast-paced contemporary society?

Within the Christian community, faith expression is pivotal. It establishes the connections between what you say about your values and the realities that lie behind those words. And on a Christian college campus, where values are still being shaped and lifelong commitments are being determined, it is especially important.

On the campus of Columbia Union College—a Christian college at the nation’s capital–– campus ministries play a distinctive role. They contribute to providing specific and broad-based outlets for faith expression, where students can translate their beliefs into tangible service that makes a difference in the lives of people in the surrounding area. Each year new campus ministries are added, as students and campus leaders assess the changing needs of the community and the gifts of that years’ student population.

The Columbia Union College Chaplain is the leader of our Campus Ministries programming.
The Office of the Chaplain includes: Campus Ministries, Student Missions, and Health Ministries. The Chaplain coordinates religious life programs on campus, such as chapel, Week in Spiritual Emphasis, and Worship Cafe.
