Director of Records

The Registrar and Director of Records is Dr. Tony Futcher. Besides having overall responsibility for the office, he evaluates transfer credits, maintains the master course catalog, produces and maintains the class schedules, determines eligibility for honor societies, and gives final clearance for graduating students. In addition to these duties, he is the academic advisor for students taking a General Studies major.

There are three full-time Assistant Registrars:

Ms. Deria Gadsden is likely to be the first person you meet in our office. She has among her duties responsibility for the front desk in the Records Office, organization of registration and graduation, overseeing verification of attendance for lending institutions, issuing transcripts, maintenance of addresses, and registration of External Degree, high school and academy dual degree students.

Ms. Anne Saggurthi has primary responsibility for degree audits. She checks the graduation contracts, compares them with requirements needed for graduation and checks for honors. Other responsibilities include preparing data for diplomas, compiling graduation statistics, updating student majors, and maintaining degree audit data.

Mr. L. David Harris has primary responsibility for student records, overseeing and reporting grades, and maintaining and archiving the permanent records. He also enters data for the class schedules. In addition, he is the liaison for the Veterans Administration.
