Academic Computer Labs
Many students in today’s high-tech age bring their own desktop or laptop computers with them to college. The computer, to students like these, has become a virtual extension of the mind, used in so many ways to enhance core activities that the student would feel lost without it. For other students, though, the existence of well-composed and readily accessible computer labs is extremely important—providing places where they can sit down and do the research and writing necessary for them to complete class assignments in a comprehensive and timely manner. Computer labs have been set up in various parts of the campus to serve the needs of specific groups of students. Contact your major advisor to find out about specific locations. The main computer lab is located in the Science building, Room 205, x4172. The regular hours of operation are: Sunday, 12 noon to 10 p.m., Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., closed holidays and during chapels and assemblies. Summer hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 12 noon to 10 p.m., closed Fridays and weekends. |
